LifeStraw Personal is the original ultra-lightweight water filter from the "Straw" series that is ideally suited for backpacking and travel. Makes contaminated water drinkable and prevents the development of most waterborne diseases from bacteria (such as E.coli) and parasites (such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium). In addition, it also filters micro-plastics from your water. Drink directly from lakes, rivers or streams or fill a bottle and use your LifeStraw on the go. The LifeStraw can provide five years of clean drinking water if properly used and maintained and has been thoroughly tested to meet standards mandated by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and NSF International/ANSI.
