Straight backs are happy backs! Kånken was designed back in 1978 to help prevent back problems among Swedish schoolchildren. The backpack quickly became a common sight at nurseries and nature schools across the country. Now, 35 years later, Kånken has straightened millions of backs around the globe and is one of Fjällräven's most popular products. The classic backpack is just as suitable for getting to and from school or work, as it is for taking with you on treks and trips. The material is a strong, lightweight Vinylon F fabric, which resists dirt and wetness. The spacious main compartment has a large zipped opening, making packing and unpacking easy. The backpack has two flat side pockets and a front zip pocket, perfect for all those goodies you want to have at hand. The included PE foam seat cushion is stored in the inside back pocket, where it also prevents the contents of the backpack from poking against your back. The seat cushion is always within reach when you want to sit down for a break, wherever you are. The carrying system is simple but practical and consists of top handles and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is reflective. There is also an address label on the inside of the main compartment.
