The Droppoint blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel. A steel with excellent toughness and very good resharpenability. Furthermore, it is finished with a black coating, this coating is not only there for appearance but also increases corrosion resistance and reduced cutting resistance. The handle has a robust construction, executed with sturdy liners and scales made of denim micarta, a composite material.
