Description
Young, refined and light footwear for urban use, travel and leisure in contact with nature. It is produced in Europe in AKU-owned factories. 100% of the components of the product are traceable. Vegan-friendly footwear, made of materials with restricted environmental impact: 100% recycled microfiber upper and 30% lighter than suede; Gore-Tex lining laminated with 99% recycled yarns; recycled polyester laces; coconut-latex-bamboo insole; the Vibram® N-OIL tread compound is made with over 90% petroleum-free ingredients and colors obtained from natural pigments; the R-EVA midsole contains 20% recycled material and is made in Italy.
The GORE-TEX® membrane contains approximately 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimetre. These pores prevent water droplets from penetrating the membrane, and water vapour, i.e. sweat in gaseous form, from escaping easily.
Vibram is synonymous with the sole for mountain footwear, an essential component for the safety and technical performance of the product.
